Surreal moments
My parents met my boyfriend for the first time ever Saturday. Not only was it the first time they have met Roque, its the first time they have ever met a boyfriend of mine. And on top of that it’s the first time they have ever met anyone I know that is gay.
You may remember from a previous post that my mom can’t handle my gayness except for denial. So she does not know I have a boyfriend. I just introduced Roque as Roque. So who knows if she actually connected the dots or not. My dad said she did not say anything afterwards.
Oh well, it was interesting, no drama, no crying, no yelling, no throwing of things. Super!
