Kitty hospital
Our loft right now has been turned into a kitten hospital. Both of our kitties are sick. Roque took them to the vet today. Gizmo had a fever of 103 and Binkie had a fever of 101 (normal temp for a kitty is 99).
Both kittens have respiratory infections and Binkie also has a urinary track infection. That would be why she is peeing everywhere.
So right now we have to give both of them antibiotics twice a day and also eye drops twice a day. They really don't like taking either, but we gots to get them better so we make them do it.
I just took a nice hot steamy shower with Gizmo. The vet said all the steam would help with the congestion. And it did, she just curled up in the corner of the bathroom on a towel and fell asleep, she was not all wheezy or anything. I think it made her happy.
I figure they will both start to be feeling better in a couple of days. I am sure Binkie will be feeling WAY better when she can start to pee again. I think it hurts her, that is why she tries to P every 5 seconds but only ends up peeing a small drop.
