All jazzed up
My buddy Mikey and I went to the AIDS LifeCycle kickoff party this weekend in San Francisco. It was an awesome event. It got me totally motivated again for the ride. Not that i wasn't motivated mind you, but seeing all the images of the ride really reminded me of the ride I did and brought back all those good memories, so now I am ready.
Unfortunately I did not win any of the raffles, they were giving away road bikes in the raffles. Mind you I totally don't want a new bike because I love my bike, it's my baby. I did the last AIDS Ride on it and I can never give it up, it has too much sentimental value now. But I would take a new bike so I could strip it and upgrade all the components on my bike!
The rain actually stopped for a few seconds and I went for a bike ride on Sunday. Unfortunately it seems my front tire is not holding air pressure so I cut the ride a lot shorter then I wanted because I did not want to deal with flat tires and crap in the cold an possibly the rain.
