Day 2 - OMG today is a century ride

My alarm when off at 5am. That is an ungodly hour. Who decided to do this ride anyway? Today is also the first century ride. The longest consecutive ride I have done so far is only 60 miles. Which means this ride is 40 miles more then that. And its after already riding 80 miles the day before!

I will go ahead and say right now that I did not make all the 100 miles. But I also want to make it VERY clear it was not because I was tired or could not make it. I got slammed with an unfortunate act of nature. I was riding along minding my own business when WHAM a bee flies into my face and gets under my glasses and stings me on the eye. ON THE EYE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am not allergic to bees and all but still, it sucks mucho and I kinda want to go to the medical tent and get it looked at. SO I get sagged to the next rest stop where they give me an icepack to put on my fact to stop the swelling from spreading and give me some Claritin to stop the reaction of the sting. So thanks to this incident I got sagged 12 miles. SO I did not do a century. I am kinda upset but its not like I have never done a century ride before so I will live.

Again, we get into camp and I setup everything take a shower, and basically just crash cause I am tired.

Now remember This day was a relatively flat day, no real hills.
