Day 3 - There is a reason they call this hill the QUADBUSTER

Day three, I wake up again at some ungodly hour. Today is the day of the quadbuster. I am kind of scared here. I have done very little training, and I certainly have not done any hill training.

The one good thing (if you want to tall it that) is that the quadbuster is at the beginning of the day and the rest of the day is relatively flat.

The quadbuster was really not “that bad”. I did have to stop halfway up and take a little breather but I did make it. It was amazing, those riders that get there first are all cheering on the others as they make it. Some of the stronger riders even go back down and back up and encourage riders as they bike up. Once at the top I am dead tired, but I get off my bike to not only rest but also to cheer on other riders as they finish.

Day 3 was a good day. I am at that level of tired now were I don’t really feel pain anymore.
