Coda Update

I never thought I could love a dog so much. I was totally on the fence before I got Coda. I was never much of a dog person having been attacked by a group of dogs at a young age. But I finally caved to husband and got him Coda. And he is the best thing ever.

Training him has been a pain in the ass. But we finally are getting somewhere. He sleeps in a kennel at night in our bedroom, and during the day he is confined to a room that has puppy pads in part of it so he can do his business since we are at work so long he can't hold it all day. He is doing really well, he always goes on the puppy pads and never anywhere else in his room. This pleases me. But I don't think he is ready to be set free, plus when the loft goes on the market he needs to be kept confined, we don't want packages on the carpet when people come to see the place, nor do we want him getting outside on accident....

Coda was a bit freaked out on his first new years cause the sound of the fireworks, which are done right by my loft. This will also be true for our new house, and they do fireworks ever week during baseball season at the stadium so he better get used to them!
