Really Big Things
It's 6am and I can't fall back asleep so I start watching television. As per usual I turn on Discovery HD cause I love Discover channel and it's even yummier in HD :) This show is on call Really Big Things. The host is this SUPER woofy bear named Matt Rogers. The first thing I see is him, all blue eyed, bearded, and wearing a t shirt with the sleeves cut off. DAMN!
I love these kinda shows so I would watch it anyway but having Matt Rogers as a host certainly helps!

Ugly Betty
How could I have not written about this show earlier? I admit I did not watch Ugly Betty at the beginning of the season. I did not catch it until the reruns started mid season and I got all caught up.
This show totally rocks! How did I go on before? And can I say the most recent twist is beyond crazy. We all assumed the person in the hospital was Fey plotting to take over the company. But then we find out that it's really his older brother who died but did not really die, he had a sex change operation.
No one I have seen who had a sex change looks that HOT, but this is TV after all :) I can't believe she is taking over the company. What will happen to Daniel? What will happen to Betty? OMG I am glued to my TV now!!!!!

Heroes
I love this show! This weeks episode rocked. We got to learn a little more about the characters. We got to see (a shirtless) Nathan (Adrian Pasdar) fly. And I mean he really took off! Oh and his brother, Peter, we learn a little something about him too. So it turns out he can't really fly. Well he can but that is not his power. His power is he can use the power of people around him, hence why he could fly around his brother, cause his brother can fly. Sweet....
As for why the cheerleader is the key the saving the world, I don't quite understand that yet. But I am sure I will understand eventually.
Oh and the cop that can read minds, Matt (Greg Grunberg) well he didn't do anything particularly cool this week, other then look totally cute and yummy!
Monday nights ROCK!

BSG - like OMJ!
If you did not think Friday nights episode of BSG was the best darn thing evar, then you got problems. It was the best episode EVAR!!!!!!
It starts off with Tigh killing his wife for being a traitor to the rebellion. Damn! That is some fucked up shit right there!
THEN.... Galactica jump into the atmosphere and plummets to the ground to launch in Vipers close the ground and then jumps right before hitting the ground. DAMN! That was one of the coolest special effect shots I have seen in a TV show.
Then right when Galactica is about to have its ass handed to it by the Cylon base stars Pegasus jumps in and starts kicking some ass! And to top it off they sacrifice the Pegasus!!!! But before they abandon ship they set it on a collision course with a Base Star and destroy it, then some of the debris from that explosion destroys another Base Star.
And THEN when they are all on Galactica's hanger Starbuck is about to introduce her "daughter" when someone spots her and its revealed it's this other persons daughter and the Cylons kidnapped her to manipulate Starbuck. So it's a bitter sweet ending. They escape from New Caprica but many of them are psychologically fucked up now.
Can I just say BSG is the best show ever!

Veronica Mars is back!
That's right people, last night was the season premier of our favorite show Veronica Mars. Let me tell you, if you were worried that this show would fall into that same trap of high school being over and messing up the chemistry by going to college you could not be more wrong. The season premier totally rocked. I love this show, it's one of my all time favorites. I am so glad it's back. And I am especially glad Veronica is back with Logan (who is totally my current TV husband). AND I got to see Logan in HD (thanks to my new HD DVR!).
Life is good.....

Heroes

Last night Roque and I wanted Heroes. OMG!!!! That show kicked some serious ass. After one show I am already totally hooked like crack!
I was a bit bummed that my hottie Greg Gunberg. But...when they showed upcoming previews they showed him shirtless showing off his furry chest. WOOF! AND another of my hottie favorites Adrian Pasdar is also on the show, maybe he will be shirtless too!
Is it next week yet? I want more Heroes!!!!!

The 4400
Roque and I rented the first season of The 4400. Everyone keeps saying how good this series is and stuff so I figured it was time I watched it. I am a sucker for scifi after all.
Let me just say this show is amazing! Every good thing you have heard about it is true. We watched the whole first season today. Admittedly the first season is only 6 episodes but still, we watched it all. And the season finale has a twist I was not expecting.... I guess I did a good job of not reading any spoilers about this show even though I have been wanting to see it for such a long time. I already have put the second season on my Netflix queue.
I recommend you add The 4400 to you Netflix queue now!

My Super Ex-Girlfriend
Last night the husband and I went to go see My Super Ex-Girlfriend. It was a darn funny movie. It goes where all super hero movies can't go. Like what's it like when a super hero has sex? What happens to the poor other person who is not super being subjected to this super sex? What happens when you piss off your super girlfriend and break up with her?
Uma Therman does a great job being the crazy girlfriend/superhero. And OMG, Eddie Izzard is totally in the movie!!!!!!!!!!!

Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest
Over the weekend a group of us went to go see Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest. It was a really good movie, I enjoyed it greatly and I will totally be buying it on DVD when it comes out. There were lots of crazy fight scenes and as always Captain Jack is just the best drunk gay pirate EVAR.
The only think I did not like about this movie was that it did not really have an end. I wont give any spoilers I will just say there were too many plot lines left hanging. I know there is going to be a sequel, but the way the setup the sequel it almost seems like they forgot certain plot lines. That bugged me, I want superior resolution.
But beside that, you should clearly go see it, cause it was good. If you liked the first you will like this one too.

RENT
The Hubby and I watched RENT the other night. It was a really good movie. I had never seen the musical and really knew nothing about it. Did you know that Rent has nothing to do with paying rent? It's like about AIDS and stuff...
Very good movie, a little sad. It was lame that Angel died. I liked her. Now I kind of want to buy the sound track..... iTunes here I come!

Battlestar Galactica: OMG!
The season finale of BSG was amazing. I can't believe what happened. I can't believe they elected Baltar as president. I can't believe the Number 6 on Cloud Nine detonated a nuclear warhead. I can't believe they are settled on that icky planet. I can't believe they did that "one year later" thing! I can believe Baltar turned into a womanizing whore. I can't believe New Caprica is now Cylon occupied too! The whole fleet jumped and left them all there!
Now we have to wait till october to find out what the hell is going to happen!

Logo: The Ride (in commercial form!)
So I was watching The Sum of Us on Logo and while I was fast forwarding through the commercials (thank you Tivo!) I noticed a commercial for The Ride: Seven Days To End AIDS. As you all know I rode in the AIDS Life Cycle last year, which is when they filmed The Ride. I have been super excited about the premier of this documentary. So clearly I was excited to see the commercial. Anyway, I was watching the commercial then all of a sudden there was this clip in it that had me saying "NO FUCKING WAY!" I had to rewind and watch again to be sure. It was true! My buddy (read straight boyfriend) Mikey was also on the ride with me but he did not ride he did motorcycle crew. Well there is a clip in the commercial with him in it! I immediately got on the phone and called him and screamed like a little school girl.
OK so that pic you see on this post, that is Mikey. Notice the yellow motorcycle jacket and the orange safety vest. Then watch the commercial (hell yes I managed to get it into quick time format!) and see if you can see him! My straight boyfriend, on gay national TV, I am so proud!
On to the videos!

Project Runway Finale!
Did everyone watch the season finale of Project Runway? It was really good! Here is what I thought of the designers runway shows:
Santino: I expected more from Santino. Mind you I don't like him and I did not want him to win, but I did expect something more interesting out of him. I found his cloths to be boring. He used really bland colors and I did not think his line really wow'd me. So ya, I was not too impressed.
Daniel: I honestly thought Daniel would be the one to win. But his line just was not all that super fab. I mean his stuff was nice, clean and elegant, but it was not WOW. He played it too safe.
Chloe: I am not sure what I expected from Chloe. I generally liked her designs during the season. But her collection was yummy. Every dress fit the model beautifully, and they were memorable and they had wow factor. I like bright shiny colors, what can I say!
So yippee, Chloe won! Go Chloe! Sorry Daniel, but honestly I saw better during the season....

Project Jay
I have to say though the special was a bit depressing! It's all about him trying to be a designer (because in case you did not know, Jay turned down all his winnings from Project Runway). He gets a call telling him Heidi Klum wanted him to design a dress for her to wear on the red carpet. After doing ALL this work for her and this dress, she decides at the last minute not to wear it. What a beotch. And then at the end of episode he has major back surgery!
The show had no real end, which was kinda lame. It's clear they meant it to be longer but it was cut short for some reason. Who knows.
Go Jay!!!!!

CSI: The return of Lady Heather
Anyway back in the beginning they used to have episodes with Lady Heather. I loved her! The chemistry between her and Grisham was always good too. Anyway she did not have any more guest appearances while she was busy being the evil bitch on The OC. But this Thursday she was back.
It was however sad the circumstances that she returned under. Her daughter had been a murdered victim. And not just murdered she was tortured and stuff buy a totally sick bastard.
Anyway in the end they find the guy and go to his place, but the guy is not there. They think he may have left town. But no, Grisham drives down the road they were on in the dessert to see if he can find him and what does he find? The dominatrix herself Lady Heather has this guy tied to the front of an SUV and has a whip out and is whipping the shit out of this fucker.
I suppose it's morally questionable what she was doing, but the guy totally deserved it. In the end it was one of the saddest episodes of CSI I have seen. Making it Lady Heathers daughter really makes you hate the killer even more then normal.
Go Lady Heather!

What the hell?
WTF? OK so the episode starts off with Billy proposing to Dee. And what does she do? She says no! Totally smack in the face for my poor boy Billy. Then later they are both on Cloud 9 and Billy finds out she was there with Apollo. WHAM, another smack in the face of Billy. At this point I am really feeling for the boy. He is getting a seriously raw deal here.
And how does it end? Well after the whole hostage situation and stuff, Billy dies. I basically cried. I know I am sap but gosh! Why did his last day alive have to suck so royally? And why did they kill him? I really liked Billy!
The writers are obviously of the Joss Weadon camp, take no prisoners and kill whatever characters you want.
I want my Billy back!!!!!!!!! :(

WTF Mate?
I am of course assuming everyone watched the 100th episode of Smallville last week. I am really late in writing about it, but I just watched it on Tivo. The episode started out SOOO good. Clark finally stopped being an idiot and told Lana about himself. AND on top of that he proposed and she said yes. Life was all happy and goodness and stuff. Then Lana has to go and get herself killed! She died! Now you're thinking OMG Lana died!.
Wait it does not end there! Clark goes to talk to his daddy in the fortress of solitude and is like "wtf is wrong with you, you mother f*()er taking away Lana!" And then daddy is all like "there was a price to pay... blah blah". In the end Clark convinces him to give him a second chance. This time he does not tell Lana anything, she dumps him, but she does not die.
His dad dies. Jonathan dies! That is so unacceptable I can't even explain!
It was a really good episode, even if it was totally messed up.

Brokeback Mountain
I have to say, this movie had A LOT of hype to live up to. It did a darn good job of living up to the hype. I thought it was excellent. We both thought it was excellent. We are going to go see it again (paying this time) to support the film.
I am not gonna give away the plot or anything for those that have not seen it, but it was good. The acting was good, the story was good. It's a very emotionally driven movie. Very good movie, I highly recommend you see it, even if you're straight.
Oh...and it would not be a post by me if I did not say that my man Jake Gyllenhaal is totally hot!

The 40 year old virgin
This movie is absolutely hilarious. I heard it was funny, and the rumors where totally true. You will be laughing out loud a lot during this movie. The basic plot is of course this guy that is 40 and is still a virgin. And his co-workers/friends find out and try to get him some action. This movie can't really be described, it just has to be watched.
AND, this movie has Paul Rudd in it. I am a huge Paul Rudd fan. There is just something about him that makes you tingle...down there.... I was kind of worried that I was not going to get to see andy furry chest shots of my man Paul, but thankfully in a totally crack inspired scene at the end of the movie, you get to see Paul in all his woofy furry glory!
So go out and rent this movie, it's totaly worth it and it will have you in stitches.

Crack is back!
It's back everyone! Project Runway is back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I was worried this second season would not be as good as the first season because everyone would just be trying to impersonate what happened on the first season, but that is not the case. You get a room full of queens competing to be head queen and drama just happens without having to try.
This season is good! I alread have my favorite (he's my little pocket bear), and my most hated person.
If you have not watched it, then what is your damage? Set your Tivo now! Project Runway is a must see show.

Goblet of Fire
The movie cut out A LOT of the book. This was to be expected since the book was huge. They still did a darn good job of conveying the story. And the parts they changed I was ok with.
I am not sure about the next movie, the book for The Order of the Phoenix was kind of annoying. But we will see what the movie is like.

Also, as you can see from the pic on this post, we get to see Victor Krum. He is a little hottie! I approve of that. I have also heard the guy playing Cedric is rather yummy too, we will have to see.

Battlestar Galactica
If this episode is still on your Tivo and you have not watched it yet, then don't continue.
---SPOILER ALERT---
Who are these people from the Pegasus? This whole thing seems a bit fishy to me. How is this ship still around? How did they overcome the inherent problem of having Baltar's navigation system being hacked? And why is everyone on the ship such total assholes? Admiral Cain is a total bitch, and a bit insane if you ask me.
Does she know what her crew is doing? I realize Cylons are not human but how is it OK to rape a prisoner? And the two that tried to stop it are sentence to death, presumably without any real trial.
I am glad Adama was not putting up with that crap. I hope he tears that bitch Cain a new one!
Why is January not already here!!!!!!!!!!!!

oh My GOD!
Before I get into it, I just want to say that you can strand me on an island with Matthew Fox ANY day.
OK back to Lost. That premier was SO good. Yet amazingly we are just as confused, if not more, now then before!
----SPOILER ALERT-----
Who the hell was that guy in the bunker? Why is there a bunker on the island? Where does he get his food? And Jack saw the guy before he was ever on the island! Where is Kate? Are the guys on the raft dead?
Now I have to wait till next week. I hate waiting! And I wanted to see this show so much I actually watched it live on TV rather then Tivo later so I was forced to watch commercials. That is how much I have to see this show!
OK people, what do you think is happening? Seriously, put your ideas in the comments. I have heard several theories, like they are actually in purgatory, and that is why the "others" take the kids cause they are innocent and don't deserve to be there. But I am not too convinced about that theory..... What do you think? Tell me.

Finally someone gets it!
People aren't going to see movies in the theaters this summer. The movie executives are all freaking out. They are thrashing about blaming file sharing and piracy. But finally an article that gets it.
I like many others have no desire to spend 10 bucks (20 if I take my hubby with me) so I can see a crappy movie with no plot, horrible acting, and 20 minutes of commercials (before the previews even start!)
For the same price (if not cheaper) I can buy a DVD of an actually good move and watch it on my home theater system with my big screen TV and Dolby Digital surround sound.
So explain to me why I should blow my money on crappy moves and commercials and screaming kids in the theater?

Donnie Darko - WTF?
So I had to start searching the internet for answers. I found that apparently the Directors Cut is a lot less confusing, glad I did not watch the original cut.
Anyway I guess I would recommend it, even though it does not make sense it is entertaining to watch and the acting was good.

Thank god for re-runs!
Can I just say that Battlestar Galactica is THE best scifi show on TV, and possibly the best ever. I can't believe how amazing this show is. It is really started to get intense now, specially with basically the ENTIRE bridge staff lying and allowing the president to escape. Tigh is such a loser, I don't know why Adama tolerates him.
I can't wait till next week!!!!!!!!!

Clearly now I need to hit the gym. It is time to get in shape and be that muscle cub I know I can be! Plus I just signed up for the AIDS Life Cycle again so I figure maybe this time it would be easier to lug around less of myself :-P
Oh and I totally stand by my previous statement that Morgan Spurlock is a complete and total hottie. I think so even more now that I have gotten to see him shirtless in this movie and he has fur! Plus he is a red head which we all know totally does it for me.

Batman Begins
The Hubby and I went to go see Batman Begins last night on opening night. It was a really good movie. Much better then all the other ones, definitely WAY better then the last ones (I liked the first two, before it got all super cheesy).
But lets talk about THE most important part here. Before the movie started there was a trailer for Serenity. OMG! My life was complete as soon as I saw the trailer. I am counting down the days till that movie comes out people!

Dismemberment Fetish
****SPOILERS DON"T READ ON IF YOU HVE NOT SEEN IT**********
This is by far the best of all the three prequels. The action scenes (of which there were many) were just amazing. The light saver scenes rocked. The part where Yoda takes on the emperor was really cool. The fight between ObiWan and Anakin was really good.
I will say that the movie in all was incredibly depressing. This is to be expected of course. But really after you see this movie you are going to want to go home and pop A New Hope into the DVD player to give you some closure that is a little more happy.
And as for the subject of this post, have you noticed how many people get their limbs hacked off in this series? Clearly Lucas has a dismemberment fetish.

What the hell happened to Logan?
First of all they found the killer. I must say I did not see that one coming. It was however VERY satisfying to see the Kane family get what was coming to them. I must say I am actually kinda happy Veronica told her mom to get lost. She did not deserve to have Veronica in her life.
I am slightly upset about the ending though. There was a total lack of resolution in terms of Logan. What the hell happened to Logan? It seems like he was all super upset and ready to jump off the bridge and stuff. It also seemed like Weevil and his gang was about to kick his ass. That is where it ended! What happened? Was it him that showed up and Veronica's door? Are they gonna make up? Personally I like Logan (and its not just because he is my Veronica Mars crush).
Now I have to wait until next season to find out what happens! I can't wait.

Veronica Mars, my new crack
If you have not seen this show, I highly recommend you catch it in reruns. It is well worth the hour. Some critics are even call it the new Buffy. This show is of course nothing like Buffy, but it does have a very strong female lead. We totally love Veronica.
Anyway, tomorrow is the season finale, and we finally get to find out who killed Lilly Caine. I honestly don't know who it is. It will probably be some totally weird twist. It was probably the mother, she seems like a total cold hearted beotch.
I clearly have no choice now but to buy the DVD's as soon as they hit the shelves!

Did I mention that the director clearly must have been gay? How else can one explain all the unnecessary (yet oh so loved) happy trail shorts of Ryan Renolds and the fact that Dracula is like the hottest man alive (and almost always shirtless).

Elektra: The movie
Now mind you I like my share of bad movies. I will watch almost anything. But this movie had NO plot. It was a random collection of events. Nothing was ever explained. It just kept going, but it went no where.
I am going to go ahead and say it. This movie was worse then Dare Devil. At least Dare Devil had a plot and had its back story explained.
It really is sad to because I LOVE Jennifer Garner. I mean she is Sidney Bristow and we LOVE Sidney Bristow. But not even Sidney Bristow can save a movie that has no storyline.

Live Action Transformers Movie?
I know the idea has been kicked around for some time. It has always seems like a dream and no one would ever actually do it. But CNN has a story about DreamWorks doing it. And a release date of November 2006?
I have to admit, I think it would be darn cool to see a live action transformers movie. I guess we will just have to wait and see.

Desperate Housewives
First off, did we all see the totally delicious carpenter guy that Terry Hatcher went on a date with? I mean WOW, he was so hot. Alas we did not get to see him with his shirt off, and that clear was an over site by the writers.
Second, I am kinda sad that the little gay boy did not come out yet. But I do think its funny that his identity crisis is causing him to be a total authority problem and they took him away in the middle of the night to some military camp. I mean come on people, to be dragged out of bed by two hot boys! I realize he is not fully at one with his gayness yet, but he will look back on that experience and totally get turned on.
Third, Bree VanDecamp is my hero. I mean she is SO wrong on so many levels but she rocks! She is just so upfront and in your face when she wants to be. I love her!
Anyway new episodes came on in the perfect time, right after Battlestar Galactica ended so now I have a new show to watch religiously!

Battlestar Galactica: Best season finale EVER!
I can't wait for season one to be released on DVD. But now I have to wait for July for season two to start. Admittedly it's really not that far away by comparison of other shows. I guess I have more time now to watch some other shows in it's place until the new season starts.

The bad TV I will put up with for a hot man!
OK, first of all they never showed any fur. That was lame and all but not enough to make the movie suck. What made the movie suck, was the movie. It was horrible! And by that I mean HORRIBLE! But I watched it cause I had to support my man Sean.
OK, ya that is all I had to say. I watch really bad made for TV movie's just cause of hot men, I admit it, I am totally shallow like that. Oh well.

Sidney Bristow is a GOD
I actually like the direction it is taking this season, because now she is in an SD6 like position but this time it actually is a covert branch of the CIA. So they don't have to put up with government crap, they can just go on cool missions!
The good thing about this late premier is that the season is now going to run all the way through without any reruns. I am excited, my Tivo is excited. It is a good place to be :)

The O.C. is back!
Who here hates the mother of Ryan's baby? Come on, raise your hands. I hate her. Roque hates her. During that one scene where she calls Ryan after the doctor's appointment all crying, we were both hoping she miscarried so Ryan could get the hell away from her. OMG and she told him she did! But we learned later she was lying so she could set him free. Screw that I wanted her to really miscarry. Now there will be drama later on.
Anyway, I am still waiting for Ryan and Seth to have the gay porno action scene. A boy can dream can't he?

America, FUCK YEAH!
We went to go see Team America over the weekend. It was the best movie EVER! It was SO funny. I need to go see it again. Those wacky South Park guys are really good at making political points and making it funny. And for those that think they are just talking trash about the president and stuff, they don't. In their own words they are equal opportunity offenders and that is totally true.
By the way, the vomit scene and the sex scene are totally worth the price of admission. I highly recommend you go see this film, in fact see it like a million times.

Manhunt
I started to watch it, but then I had to turn it off. That show was just too stupid even for me. And to top it off, the men really aren't that hot. Yes they have nice bodies. but most of them have funny faces and nasty hair cuts. I personally have a problem with that, I need a cute face or it's no deal. And let's not forget the most important part of all, the complete lack of fur. All these men are totally hairless.
So lets recap, stupid plot, not so hot guys, lack of fur. I will not watch this show.

Lost
Anyway Matthew Fox who is one of the main characters was looking totally hot and woofy in the premier. You even get to see him shirtless where he shows off his tatted, furry, hot, woofy body.
I am hooked now. There is a season pass set for the show on my Tivo.

Stargate Atlantis
This past friday was the series premier of the spin off show, Startgate Atlantis. I liked it a lot. It was a good show. It makes me happy. SG1 is a great show, and I think this spin off has lots of potential.
It also doesn't hurt that part of the cast has the hot woofy Maj. John Sheppard We like him alot.
The one issue I have with this new show is the enemy they have chosen. If this enemy destroyed and whipped out the Ancients, then how the hell is the small band of humans, that is cut off from Earth, living in an old city who's power systems have run dry going to last against them? I am all for enemies and all, but enemies that are so far beyond invincible seems kinda odd to have.
Anyway, everyone that is a scifi fan that has not already seen the show need to give it a chance!

Movie Reviews
In the past week Roque and I have seen two movies. We saw Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban and we saw Shrek 2.
Harry Potter
I loved this movie. I have heard some mixed reviews on this movie. Some have told me it is the best one, others have told me it was the worst one. One this is for sure, it is different. The whole feel and theme of the movie is not the same. It's not all light hearted and the likes, it clealry is a darker movie. But it also has a really interesting story to tell. I like how things all tie together in the end, cause in the middle you are kinda thiking "what?".
I would recommend this movie. In fact if you go see it tell me cause I wanna see it again and I will go with you!
And I know I am going to a special level of hell for saying thing, but is it just me or is Ron getting hot? I guess I just have this messed up facination for redheads. He is scrawny too which is actually something I don't like at all. Not to mention he is jail bait, I am just saying, he has potential.
Anyway, watch this movie.
Shrek 2
What can I say about this movie. It was funny and kept me entertained the whole time. I am not quite sure I agree with others that say its better then the first, but I will say it is for sure as good as the first.
The interesting thing about this movie is that it cleary was written by a group of homo's. I mean come on! If you have seen it you know exactly what I mean!
Oh and BTW I love having Jennifer Saunders and the fair god mother, she rocked.

Fahrenheit 9/11 found a distributor!
Well Michael Moore finally found a distributor for his film Fahrenheit 9/11. This is a documentary exploring the connections between the Bush’s and Saudi oil and other things. I can’t wait to see this movie.
Disney refused to release this movie because it is an election year and it exposes GW as what he really is (an ignorant power hungry mother fucker). Or at least that is what I hope it does!
Lets all have a Fahrenheit 9/11 party, my place, it will be fun!

Unfulfilling night of season/series finales
Smallville: I love Smallville, and I love the season finale, but at the same time I am kind of pissed. Everyone died! The show before they had all of Clark’s friends leave so he basically had no one. Then in this show, they killed Cloe, poisoned Lex, Dad is unconscious, and Clark is in some cave wall being brainwashed by his dad. Now we have to wait till next season to find out what happens? Argh, but you know I will wait patiently, tivo ready to capture the new season.
Angel: OMG, this was a good series finale. I do feel though I was left hanging. I prefer my series finales to bring me a bit more closer, not leave me in a total cliffhanger position. Yes they killed everyone, but a) Wesley died and b) it ended with like every demon on the planet about to kill them. I was not happy about Wes dieing. This angered me greatly, but I was glad to see that Aleria got vengeance for his death. Although I was pissed they killed Fred, the character of Aleria is rather intriguing.
Well today officially ended good television for a while. Angel is gone forever so there are now only so many good shows left.

Wonderfalls
Last night Roque and I caught the encore presentation of Wonderfalls. I had heard good things about this show and now I know why. That was one of the best televisions shows I have seen in a long time. This is going on as a season pass on my Tivo. If any of you have not watched it, I suggest you start.
Also, the EPS guy was freak’n HOT! They had a scene were he was neked and he was all furry, WOOF!

Movie Review - Chasing Liberty
It's also well known that I love these type of movies. They are so good in there badness. Anyway it's no shocker that I liked this movie. I must say that if I was straight I would want to do Mandy Moore. But since I am gay...her co-star Matthew Goode is not to bad looking, and he has that whole accent thing going on which rocks.
If you are a Mandy Moore fan which I know you are, go see this movie. NOW!!!!

Movie Review - Mona Lisa Smile
The boyfriend and I went out to see Mona Lisa Smile over the weekend. It was a toss up for me between this movie and Big Fish, but he really wanted to see it and so did I, so that is what we went for.
This was a really good movie, we both give it thumbs up. Julia Roberts of course rocks, we all love her. Kirsten Dunts rocked, and so did Julia Stiles. The acting was good, the story was good. It was a good movie.
I only have one complaint about this movie and that is the ending seemed a bit rushed. See there was a lot of character development, which is good cause the characters weren’t shallow and you actually cared about them. But they just didn’t really have time to finish off all the story lines to my full satisfaction. But by no means should this stop anyone from seeing this great movie.

A homogay reunion
Did we all watch the Queer Eye reunion special last night? If you didn’t what the hell is your damage? It was good, I was impressed that the boys they went back to see actually kept up the change. And I would just like to say that “Butch” was looking *hot*, WOOF!
Anyway it was fun, all the boys did a good job, even if they were not totally perfect in keeping things up, but hey they are straight after all.

Battlestar Galactica: part II
Again just like the first part, this was really good. It was different then I expected. There really wasn’t a lot of action and fighting and stuff. This miniseries focused a lot more on the human aspects of the conflict. So basically this miniseries was all about drama not big huge action scenes. Here are some things we learned:
- The new Starbuck is total lesbian icon, move over Xena
- There was a GREAT armpit shot of Apollo in part I, WOOF!
- Secretaries of Education can make good presidents when given the chance
- Apollo turned out to be less of a prick when you first thought in the beginning
- Tyrol is also a cuttie
- Earth is a myth, damn it we are all just imaginary

Battlestar Galactica: part I
Last night was part I of the new SCIFI miniseries of Battlestar Galactica. And let me tell you it rocked something hard core. Than changes they made are actually rather interesting. The Cylons are now the creation of man, and they had previously had a war with them. Now they are coming back. I must say the new Cylons look cool.
If you didn’t watch part I last night, what the hell is your damage! Watch it, then watch part II tonight. Tonight’s episode should be really good cause this is when the humans start to fight back, last night was all about humans being wiped out.

Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World
Anyway this movie was really really good. It’s not your typical Hollywood blockbuster crap. It’s not all about blowing things up, it’s not all specially effects and in your face. There is this thing called plot, and this other thing called character development that actually occurs in the movie. It really was a good movie to watch, I highly recommend it to everyone that reads this site. GO see it, even if you aren’t a Russell Crowe fan. Roque also like this movie a lot and he hates Russell Crowe. hehe

Matrix: The last one
I figure it’s about time I give my opinion on the final installment of the Matrix saga. I actually watched this movie opening day on Wednesday but I have not written about it because I have been way busy and my computer is broken and all that crap. SO here it is!
This movie was not good. Mind you I was not expecting much since the second one wasn’t all the terrific either. But this movie went no where. By the time you got to the end you were like “what?” There was NO END. There was zero resolution to anything! You were left with just as many if not more questions then when it all started! I was pissed I wanted answers, I waited years and paid good money!
Having said that, this movie is a must see, just because you have to! Too much time and energy has already been invested in this movie by all us fans to not go see it. Actually if it were not for the end, I would have liked this movie. True there was no real plot but it was not till the end with the complete lack of answers and unfulfillment that I was pissed, the rest was fun to watch. And there was a killer fight scene between Neo and Agent Smith.
So go watch it, and report back to me on how much you didn’t like it.

Kill Bill Volume 1
R and I just got back from seeing Kill Bill. Um wow. I don't really know what else to say about this movie. It was a very very good movie. I highly recommend seeing it. I will agree that yes it is rather violent and there is generous amounts of blood happening, but trust me, this is a movie you don't want to miss. The fight scenes were so awesome! Go see this movie now, and if you have seen it, go see it again!

Some movie going fun!
So on Friday for the first time in a long time I went to go see a movie. A bunch of us decided we wanted to see Scary Movie 3. And what better day to see a movie then on opening day?
The movie itself was actually rather funny. Mind you it was not the best satirical comedy ever but it was funny to watch. I had a good laugh, and that is what matters. Mission accomplished! Plus Roque held my hand the entire movie which ROCKS! Such a sweetie pie. I am a sucker for all the mushy stuff what can I say.
After the movie we just went back to my place since it was super late and Roque gave me my b-day gifts. One of them was some Calvin Klein massage oil... ahem....
So ya friday night rocked!

South Park again at last!
Last night was the premier of all new South Park episodes on Comedy Central. Oh how long I have been waiting for this. And I must say it was a really funny episode. All the men in South Park where turned I metrosexuals because of watching Queer Eye For the Straight Guy so much. If you did not see it, I believe Comedy Central re-airs it Saturday so watch it.
But they made some interesting points in this episode. What the hell is up with this metrosexual crap? And for that matter who was the bastid that coined that phrase? I mean come on what the hell is a metrosexual. And more importantly why do they want to try and be us? They can try all they want, dress like us and stuff, but they will never be us! HAHA
So in conclusion, down with the crab people!!!!!!!!

Boy Meets Boy
D comes over to my place every week to watch Boy Meets Boy with me. It’s like our weekly tradition now. D didn’t think the show would be as good anymore since his favorite boy got eliminated last week, but my two boys (Franklin and Wes) are still in the game so I am all about watching. Last night was good! We got to see some flesh which is always good. My boys Franklin and Wes made good impressions on James. In the end 3 of them got eliminated, the 2 I wanted to be kept were kept, and one D wanted kept was kept, and the others got axed. The freaky guy turned out to be straight (clearly).
At the very end of the episode it was revealed that one of the remaining three boys is straight. James did NOT seem pleased. He just had this look on his faces like he was pissed, and there is where the episode ended. I SO can’t wait for the next show! Boy meets boy is like crack, you just have to watch!

And Big Brother returns!
Joy of all joys! Big Brother 4 starts July 8! I am not a really big reality TV fan, but there are a few choice ones that I am obsessed with. Big Brother is one of them. Last year me and a coworker would talk about each episode. We were all bummed cause we did not think there would be a fourth season. On Monday I checked my email, and there was a message from my coworker with the subject like “Big Brother 4 starts July8!” I almost fell out of my chair I was so happy!
And this year there is going to be a twist. They are going to put peoples ex’s in the house with them to increase the drama level. OMG I can’t wait. I am setting my season pass on Tivo as soon as I get home! I am not going to want to miss a moment of this yummy goodness.

Charlie’s Angels: Full Throttle
I went to go see Charlie’s Angels Full Throttle and it was SO good. Mind you it is in fact a cheesy movie. It has impossible fight scenes but it was just so much fun to watch. I even thought it was better then the first. It started right out with a total killer action scene and it just kept going. And I love all the Angles, they all rock in their own way.
I wont post any spoilers incase you have not scene it. And if you have not scene it, what the hell is your problem go see it! This is a movie that is probably even worth buying when it comes out on DVD.

The Amazing Race
I had never seen an episode of The Amazing Race before last night. But a bunch of us were at his place and we watched an episode of it. That show cracks me up, especially the way they label the teams. They each have a little descriptions like “Best Friends / Clowns”. The two gay guys’ description is “Married”. But the best, the absolute best description is “Dating 12 years / Virgins” that is Millie and Chuck.
OK I am sorry, you can’t date someone for 12 years and still be a virgin, especially the guy. I mean he must jack off like there is no tomorrow.
And the two gay boys? Apparently they are no longer married like they were in the show.
Damn it Ben, now I am hooked on yet another show!

The Best Dawson's Creek Ever!
Tonight was the series finale of Dawson's Creek. It's the end of an era. Before I continue with this post I must warn you all that I am a Dawson's Creek addict. It's like crack to me. So if I seem way to into this...well I probably am :)
Do we all remember the wish-list I wrote last week about things I wanted to happen on the finale of Dawson's Creek? Several of my wishes came true.
I have to admit, one thing happened right at the beginning of the episode that not even I expected. Remember I wanted Jack to find a stable relationship and I also wanted Pacey's yummy brother Doug to get some homo-gay action. As fate would have it I got both these wishes in one shot! Jack and Doug are a couple?!?!? Right on. It's good to see Jack have a good relationship (and he is also a daddy now). We all knew Doug should have been gay but never expected it to happen.
I wanted Dawson to die but realistically that would never have happened. Instead Jen died. This was very sad, cause even though I always kinda hated her, you couldn't help but feel for her cause she was finally not an emotional mess.
Pacey and Joey got together!!!!!! Need I say more?
In all I am very pleased with this series finally, they did a darn good job....stop making fun of me! :)

I'm ready
Yesterday the boyfriend bought us tickets to go see The Matrix Reloaded. Opening night baby!!!!! This is going to rock something hard core. I have been waiting to see this movie forever.
It's kind of funny because when I saw the first movie, it was finals and my buddy Adam and I were studying all morning, we decided to take a break and see The Matrix, then we came back and studied for the rest of the day. Right now is finals time, I have massive projects and stuff, and I am going to see The Matrix Reloaded. There is a certain symmetry to it huh?

The end of Dawson's Creek
Last night I watched the second to the last episode of Dawson’s Creek. Next week is the 2 hour season finally. I can’t wait. I am a total Dawson’s Creek addict. They are hinting that someone is going to die (oh please let it be Dawson). Anyway here is my wish list for the last episode.
- Dawson is the one to die (as stated before)
- Joey and Pacey finally get together once and for all
- Someone bitch slaps Jen and tells her she is a whinny messed up wreck of a person
- Jack finally gets a man!
- We get to see Pacey neked
- We get to see Pacey and Jack have sex
- Pacey’s hot brother Doug also has some homo-gay action
I realize some of those wishes contradict each other, but whatever. They would really make Dawson’s Creek end with a bang!

HEHE
Did anyone catch the Jamie Kennedy Experiment tonight? I watched it when I came home from school. They had this one bit where they found guys from Texas to be in a "Guys Gone Nuts" video. But then later they found out the video was being marketed towards gays. Jamie wanted these guys to be his gay ambassadors, go to gay clubs and promote the video and let gay boys fondle them and stuff. It was funny.

Movie Review: Brotherhood of The Wolf
This was a damn good film. Notice i am not calling it a movie. Movie is reserved for hollywood crap, this was a film. The cinematography was amazing! It was just a pure joy to watch. The story was gripping. I would recommend any of my readers to see this movie.
Please note this is a French film but it has english subtitles. If you watch the DVD it does have English dubbing, but we did not watch it in english because I HATE dubbed movies. It losses something. I prefer to read the subtitles. So go rent it, you wont regret it.

The boyfriend and I watched Dungeons and Dragons last night. I only have one thing to say about this. If I can give my readers one piece of advice, it would be to never ever watch this movie. It was SO bad. I can't even express how bad it was. So there ya go, really, really, really bad movie.

Tivo not evil after all :)
We all know how advertisers and media providers in general are all freaking out because with Tivo (and other DVR's) you can watch your shows whenever you want and you can zip through the commercials. Procter & Gamble Co recently did some research to see if fast forwarding through the commercials really makes that much a difference on the way consumers recall commercials.
What they found is that even with fast forwarding people recall roughly the same amount of what they see as not fast forwarding. Basically what it boils down to is that we ignore the commercials anyway and our recollection of the is very low. And even is super fast forward if something catches our eye, we recall it.
No come on out there, be honest. If you zipping through your commercials with your Tivo and something strikes you as different, odd, and interesting, you'll stop and watch right? I know I do. It's the same thing as watching the Super Bowl for the commercials. A really witty clever commercial is just fun to watch.
So now that science has proven that Tivo is safe for the masses, the regular people can now go out and purchase one and live the wonder and joy that is Tivo without worrying about pissing off the advertisers.
Well OK, do we really care if we piss off the advertisers? I don't really. But that does not change the fact that Tivo is the best thing ever invented.

Six Feet Under
Rather than doing homework like a good little boy, I went over to Blockbuster and rented me episodes 1-3 of Six Feet Under. This is a damn good show. You know what this means don't you? Now I have to get HBO. I am unemployed, I can't be buying HBO! Should I get HBO? I already think I am gonna get Showtime for Queer as Folk watching purposes. My 3 free months are up.
BTW - The guy that plays Nate is woofy/yummy!

Someone stop me please!
Why do I keep watching Dawson’s Creek? Seriously my obsession has no rational explanation. I am sitting here right now watching Dawson’s Creek thanks to the wonders of Tivo. I don’t really like this show as much as I used to, yet I can’t stop myself from watching. Currently Joey and Pacey are trapped in a Kmart (what the hell kind of plot is that?). Joey just shaved of Pacey’s goatee. I used to like his goatee, cause I really like goatees but I think he looks better without one. Now he just needs a haircut because he looks better with short hair. Thank God this show is being cancelled because I need to be protected against myself.

Watching the History Channel
Did you know the History Channel is the best channel EVER? I am serious here people. You can learn so many interesting things. For example, did you know the circular saw was invented by a woman? (I am currently watching the evolution of power tools)
I was watching earlier today a show on the evolution of camping equipment. Did you know REI was started up by a climber cause he couldn’t get good gear in the US but you could in Europe so he started up a coop and imported gear. Now I am totally in the mood to do some camping. Darn television getting me all motivated to go outdoors!

Where were the fashion police in the 80’s?
I am at my brother’s house as I write this. VH1 Classic is on the TV. Currently they are showing Metal Mania, a whole hour of all your favorite hair bands and crap. The only thing I have to say as I watch these videos is How on earth were those cloths EVER in fashion? I am so glad I am young enough to have not been influenced too much by the 80’s.

Alias: The best God Damn TV Show EVER
I have been a faithful Alias watcher since the premier episode. I never miss it, and if I had to miss it I would tape it. And now that I have my Tivo, I have a season pass to Alias so I always watch it.
Today after the super bowl there was supposed to be a special super kick ass episode. Let me tell you, this episode did NOT disappoint! Tonight’s episode was so incredibly amazing. I couldn’t believe it. Me and friends were all huddled around the TV cheering on. Quite frankly we were far more energetic about watching Alias than we were about watching the super bowl.
Now I am just waiting in anticipation for next weeks episode. How on earth could they top what they just did tonight? They completely turned the entire Alias universe on end. WOW,….WOW.
*No I am not a freak, yes I realize it is just a TV show. But there is so little good TV on lately, and this show is just so incredibly awesome. I can’t wait to get into work tomorrow and talk to my fellow Alias addict about it.

Joe Millionaire
I think everyone out there will agree with me in saying that our Joe Millionaire Evan is very hot. I was watching part of the show last night, where he voted down to the final four women. Is it just me or are non of the women particularly hot? I mean I know I am gay so who am I to have an opinion on this, but I don’t think any of these women are hot. I find this odd. I would think he would have been able to pick women that are way more jaw dropping. True, one could say he is looking for that one right women and looks aren’t everything, but come on! They are all clearly money-grubbing women, once they find out he’s actually worth nothing, its all going to end. He might as well surround himself with the hottest chicks ever during the show, am I right?

Ah television now-a-days
I am currently watching that new show on the WB, High School Reunion. I clearly am missing something, cause they seem to keep eluding to people hooking up and keep saying things like will they hookup. So what really is the point of this show? To see if they can get former high school classmates to hook up? I’m not sure if I can get into this show, don’t really think any of the guys are hot enough to bother watching such a tragically bad show like this. But then again who am I not to give a bad show like this a chance.

A really good movie
I got to see The Two Towers today. It was really good. I admit I haven’t actually read the book yet. I just didn’t have the time. Now that I have seen the movie I HAVE to read the book because I want to experience the book version.
Anyway, the movie was amazing. Really good. The battle scenes rocked, they did a really good job. Big huge cataclysmic battles like that usually don’t work in the movies cause they never are as good as they were in your imagination. But hey I guess with modern technology and special effects anything is possible.
My advice is go see the movie. I plan on seeing it again probably.

Screaming like a little school girl out of excitement
I love where I work. Today for a team event, they are taking us to go see The Two Towers. Everyone here is just giddy in anticipation for seeing this movie. And the best part is that we are seeing it at noon, which really means to day is just a half day at work, cause it’s not like anyone is going to come back after the movie.

The world of Dawson’s Creek
Did anyone here watch Dawson’s Creek last night? It’s true, I am still addicted to that show, I just can’t seem to help myself. And Pacey is just so darn yummy, and now that he has a goatee, damn. Anyway, back to my original point. It bugs me that Jack can’t ever seem to be happy. Why do they do this? Must the one and only gay character always have crappy relationships and be single and miserable filled with angst and stuff? Personally I think Jack and Pacey need to hook up, that would make me happy.

I can't wait for the Storm!
Last night I bought tickets to go see Warren Miller’s new movie Storm. This is going to be SO cool. It’s playing one night only at the Crest Theatre here in Sacramento. For those of you that have never heard of or seen a Warren Miller film, what the hell is wrong with you? I haven’t seen it yet but I know it will be killer.

Movie Review: Monsters Inc.
Can you believe I did not see this movie in the theater? What the hell is wrong with me! Well anyway Jamie and I rented it this weekend. I was impressed, I had heard it was a good movie and I did want to see it, but I never really expected it to be that good.
The jokes were funny, and that little kid, Boo, was too cute. Kitty!!!! hee hee
If you have not seen this movie, what is wrong with you!?!?!? I highly recommend this movie, even if you don’t have kids, who cares, it’s a good movie. I think I might have to buy it and add it to my movie collection.

Dawson's Creek Update: October 9, 2002
Everyone that knows me already knows I am a slight(massive) Dawson's Creek fan(addict). And the new season finally began last week. I actually missed the season premier, but I did catch it last night. It's OH so important to me to find out what is happening with my favorite characters (ie Pacey).
What can I say, I am a HUGE Joshua Jackson fan! I just love him, he is so hot! And now in the new season, he is sporting his new look. All dressed up in a suit and tie and he has a goatee! I love goatee's!!!! So yeah I totally approve of the new Pacey look.
No one else in the show is really important other than Jack because he is the token gay guy. I am hoping the finally let that boy have a boyfriend! The whole I am gay and I am troubled thing is old, we need some boy on boy action this season.
Dawson, well we hate Dawson. I don't care if the show is named after him, he really should be written off. Anyway YEE HAW a new season of Dawson's Creek bliss!

Movie Review: 40 Days and 40 Nights
Well folks it’s official. I have finally lost the ability to tolerate and like bad movies. It’s true! I used to love bad movies. They have there own special quality about them. But I think that lately my tastes have shifted. I like to actually be entertained in a more intellectual manor rather than just sitting and counting my brain cells die!
I wanted to see this movie cause it stars Josh Hartnet, and lets face it folks he is one hot man! Maybe, just maybe, if I had turned the sound off and just looked at him for the length of the movie it would have been more bearable.
I don’t even want to bother with a summary of this movie, it was just to lame to output any energy on anymore.
I have been spoiled by Netflix and the ability to actually rent good movies at will. Long live the independent film!

An all new season of The Real World
I just watched the season premier of the new Real World in Las Vegas. I would like to say that MTV has clearly outdone themselves.
Everyone knows that The Real World is all about hot sexy people all trapped in a kick'n apartment and they all fight and have drama. In the past the people on the show are at least semi reasonable. By this I mean, they are almost like normal people, if not a bit over exaggerated.
I watched the pre-show where they go over what is going to be happening in the new season. Now bare in mind, this show takes place in Las Vegas, commonly knows as Sin City, so clearly they are going to play on this fact. And the pre-show validated my thoughts. There was going to be some serious drama, mostly associated with the roommates not being able to get their cloths of fast enough.
Never in Real World history has there been a cast filled with such whores. I know you think I am exaggerating about this, but I am not. Everyone in the show is a complete slut.
All the girls are stright/bi/omisexual. This clearly will lead to them haveing sex with boys, girls, boys and girls, and large groups of boys and girls.
All the boys are straight. None of them seem to have any gay tendencies which sucks! One of the boys is actually a genuine nice guy (the only one in the house). This will clearly be source of drama since he is trapped with a bunch of whores.
I have a season pass on Tivo for it, cause this is not something I want to miss!

Big Brother 3 update: September 4, 2002
Thanks to the wonders of Tivo, I just watched yesterdays Big Brother 3 episode. Let me tell you it was one seriously good episode!
First of all, Roddy is pure evil. Yes he is the sexiest thing on this earth, but he is still pure evil. No one has the ability to manipulate others the way Roddy can. It's so cool to watch him work. He can totally screw you over, make you sacrifice yourself for him, and then when you don't go along with his plan, he makes you feel like pure crap and leaves you crying. That boy should seriously be a politician the way he can spin words!!!!!
I can't wait to watch the next episode! I also have it Tivo'd so I will watch it later.

Big Brother 3 Update: August 21, 2002
YES!!!!!!!!!!!! They are making the boys wear speedo’s!!!!!!!!! I got to see my man Roddy in a speedo! Yes its true, it’s the simple things that make me happy. Man that boy looks good in a speedo…. Jason, that is another boy that looks damn good in a speedo. In fact I think this is the first time I have seen Jason with his shirt off. It was a nice thing. Jerry on the other hand is someone that I simply do not need to see in a speedo.

Big Brother 3 Update: August 14, 2002
Yippy I am watching Big Brother 3 right now! I admit I was not paying too much attention in the beginning, because I was busy uploading photos to the site, but I was still paying attention.
Apparently both Roddy and Josh are up for eviction. We ALL know who is going to get evicted, Josh. And he is being all super whinny about it. What else does he expect he is an idiot, he is not good looking, and he is a total jerk. Clearly Josh is the one people want out of the house. Roddy on the other hand is smart, HOT, and a all around nice guy!.
Today is the day someone wins the power of veto. And who won? Lisa won the power of veto. This should be very interesting because last week both her and her hubby Eric were chosen for eviction, and Eric ended up getting evicted. Lisa totally has the power, she can do some damage, and she can start to get some people back for voting out her man. The drama just builds and builds!
Tomorrow is the day that they are going to vote back one of the first four roommates. We (we being me) totally want Eric back in the house. I just want the eye candy. I admit it. Why the hell else would I watch this stupid show if not for the eye candy and drama?
OK they are doing a little Josh montage right now, making us feel all sad for him, and smack. Ick, gag me with a spoon.
Ah, Josh is being SO selfless right now asking Lisa to use the power of veto for Roddy so he will not be voted off. He is crying and everything. OK maybe, just maybe Josh is not a totally jerk. But I still don’t like him. He has emotional problems I think.
Interesting, police just issued an Amber Alert. I have never seen that before. Anyway…
Tomorrow should be a good show. Stay tuned!

Big Brother 3 update: August 8, 2002
My boy Eric got evicted. I am very saddened by this. I actually missed the first half of the show cause I thought it was on at 8 but it was actually on at 7. So I turned it on as soon as Eric got evicted.
But wait there is some seriously good news here! Apparently next week one of the four that has been evicted will be voted back into the house. So now clearly we need to start a grass roots effort to get my boy Eric back on the show!!!!
One of the chicks won Head of Household. Don’t know which one and I don’t really care.
All we can hope for now is that Eric gets voted back on and Josh gets his ugly @$$ voted off the show!

Big Brother 3 Update: August 7, 2002
I am currently watching BB3 right now. I have decided this is truly the best show EVER. How can anyone live without this show?
If it is possible, Eric is actually cuter now than when I first saw him. Yes it’s true. And unfortunately Eric is currently nominated for eviction. So is his little girl who’s name I don’t remember and why do I care. I just pray that someone uses the power of veto to save
