Things I've learned from art.....

They display local art from time to time on the walls here at work. There is this one current painting titled "Spiritual Awakening".

What I have learned from this piece is that I need someone to put their hand on my head then I need to imagine a toilet, then poof I will have a spiritual awakening!

Cleaning

Have you ever let your house get SOOO messy it makes you cry? I am not talking about embarrassing to have guests over, I mean you feel like you just can't live like this anymore....

I hit that point. Yesterday I just snapped, I wanted to cry the loft was so disgusting! It all started cause we went to a friends new place to pic him up for dinner. It was so clean and well decorated and perfect..... I kind of pissed me off. We are gay, why can't our place look like that?

It's not because our place is not decorated well, our place is actually rather kick ass, the problem is there was just shit everywhere!!!! So yesterday I went to down on the downstairs. I just threw everything away totally indiscriminately. I didn't care what it was. If it was in a pile obviously it was not important as it did not have a place and it was not being used or looked at.

The downstairs looks SOOO much better now. I felt so much happier about life. Now I need to tackle to upstairs because it's still in that make me wanna cry type state....

2800 yards baby!

That's right!!!!!! My second day back in the pool and I did 2800 yards today. I may be dead tomorrow but we will see. It felt good!

Have I mentioned that even though there are no hotties in the team itself, the coach is totally woofie, like OMG woof! Seriously...

Back in the pool again!

Today was my first day back in the pool swimming. It felt great to be back in the water and swimming with the team again! I had to stop last year cause I was dirt poor and could not afford it anymore, but things are a bit better now and I wanted to be back. Doing cardio at the gym is boring, but swimming, now that is fun!

I did 2000 yards today. Not bad for my first day back in a year. I am kinda worried about the gym this afternoon though, my arms are sorta jello and today is chest and arms day! Let's just hope Phillip doesn't kill me today......

Funny Gym Story

Here is a good funny story for you all. This explains why Phillip is my new straight boyfriend. We were at the gym (we are gym partners) and we were doing the bench press maxing out the weight. I was on my last rep barely able to life the weight. But you can see my left side is just a smidgen stronger then my right side.

This causes him to say

"You jack off with your left hand huh?"

I think I was hit on at the gym today.....

I say I think I was hit on cause I am really bad at noticing these things. I am rather oblivious. So this guy was kinda looking at me, then he finally comes up to me and says "you look familiar". But he says it really quietly to me and REALLY close to me (like almost personal space violation close. So was that him trying to imply that he has seen me at a homo bar?

I was like, sorry you don't look familiar to me. Basically shutting him down and telling him to step off. I am kinda mean huh? But what can I say, I was busy working out and all sweaty and in the zone. And he was not cute so it's not like my brain was in that path of thought.

So take note people, you may hit on me and I may completely not realize it and laugh in your face. It's just a fact of life.....

OMG it's SOOOO hot around here! Today it's supposed to be 111 degrees!!!!!

Going outside is not an option. Only climate controlled rooms for me!

Ice Road Truckers

There was a marathon this weekend of Ice Road Truckers. This is my new favorite show! Whats good be better during rerun season?!?!?!

These guys are kinda crazy, I mean who is crazy enough to drive tons of equipment on a frozen ocean and stuff? It does look kinda fun though.

You guys should totally watch this show.

I know what you are thinking.... "Scott you already launched the website a long time ago!" So true, but.... July first was our first day of having an actual store front. We have a Kiosk at the Downtown Plaza mall in downtown Sacramento. Our first week of business was actually pretty good, special considering we are a new store and no one knows about us.

I think this kiosk is going to do good things for us! I have a good feeling. We were actually really busy on Saturday.

Saturday was also full of drama. I get a frantic call from Roque that the register was broken. I ran to Office Max and bought a new register. I started to set it up and the ENTIRE thing was setup for Spanish. This register does not have a language setting, there was no way to flip it to English, I had to manually edit every message so it would be in English. Total pain! But I have to say, it's a damn nice register......

I make a good lesbian

So my freezer has been having issues.... I sheet of ice keeps forming on the bottom of it, getting thicker and thicker till the drawer wont close (I have a bottom freezer). I thought maybe the ice maker was leaking or something. I asked my lesbian friend if she knew who was a good person to call about fridge repair (always ask a lesbian for this kinda stuff). She told me this is common and its usually a clogged drain in the freezer. Did you know freezers have drains? I did not! Well they do! And after searching the next, some massive defrosting, some disassembly, I found the drain. But I still could not fully reach it! So being the resourceful man I am, I took a straw, shoved it in there and blow like an old French whore! I got that sucker unclogged and now my freezer no longer has ice build up issues!

I make such a good lesbian don't I? I even had my flannel shirt and mullet wig on!
